Nana is a HUGE Red Sox fan and it just so happened that they were playing the Angels while she was out in California so we planned a surprise with Papa to get her tickets to a game. It was so hard all week to not tell her anything, especially since this would only be her SECOND game ever seeing in person. The day of the game we told her that Todd was taking us to eat somewhere special and she would not find out until we got there.
We waiting the whole car ride there until we were getting close to the stadium and then we had Papa hand her a Red Sox tshirt and tell her to put it on. It took her a minute but she is sharp and figured it out pretty quickly. I have video of her surprise but will have to post it later when I can upload it.
I didn't take too many pictures. Unfortunately the Sox lost but it was still fun to go to a game with Nana and Papa. I just wish the bandwagon Angel fans weren't so dang NASTY. (Pam you know who I mean :))
We found Scott and he is so lucky! He was able to meet and hang out with a couple of the Sox players that week and got some autographs including a ball signed by Varitek.
