Why She Gets A Day

This is cute :)

Jackson's Busy Days

Here is a little video of what Jackson's days consist of. Razzberries, drooling, pooping, and shoving both his hands in his mouth.

Pool guests

Apparently our pool is VERY inviting. Even to animals. We had a couple (male and female) ducks visit it yesterday. Todd was able to get a few seconds on film.

Jackson's First Rice Cereal

I tried to give JJ some food for the first time yesterday. I played the videos for the grandma's last night and we were all cracking up! Hope you enjoy them...I don't think Jackson did :)

Hardscape Project

Last week we finally were able to get work started on our front lawn. It is so exciting! We've basically had dirt and weeds since we finished construction on the house over TWO years ago. I think it will be well worth the wait. The guys we hired are amazing and have awesome ideas.

We were at Family Camp when they started so we didn't get to take pictures until the third day.

Family Camp 2009

Last weekend we headed down to San Diego for the annual Flipside Family Camp. This was our first year going with a trailer and we were really looking forward to it. Turns out we were WAY less social with the trailer. Our first trip we only went for one night and stayed in a tent. The last two years we rented a cabin and felt like we were right in the middle of everything and spent a lot of time hanging out with fellow Flipsidians. This year though, we pretty much hung around our trailer and only saw peeps at breakfast, dinner or if they happened to go by our site. Todd pointed out to me too though that the trailer wasn't the "only" reason. It's tough to get out and socialize with a 4 month old who naps and eats every couple of hours. Don't get me wrong, we still had a really great time, it was just a little strange for us.

I hardly took any pictures until the last day. Oops!

Here is Jett's cool bike he rented 3 times

We loved our site. It was a corner one and we were next to the Murdocks, Lanes and right across from the Smiths.

Our Father...

We pray with the kids every night before bed and lately Morgan has started praying with us. I'm amazed how much she knows already! Todd got her praying on camera yesterday the "Our Father" prayer.

Julian, Ca

Last weekend we drove up to Julian to camp with Doug and Letty. It was a huge campground called KQ Ranch. It was one of those time share places and we got to go for free if we attended a sales presentation. Of course within 5 minutes Todd tells the guy he was 100% confident we were not going to buy and they were actually really nice. Said they didn't want to waste our time and we didn't have to finish the presentation. Not bad...15 minutes for a free weekend!

The first night was SCARY - there was a 3.9 earthquake nearby and it scared the 'you know what' out of us! And it was WINDY all night so every time the trailer shook we woke up thinking it was another earthquake. The wind died down a little though once the sun came up.

Anyways since it was a "full hook up" type place there was lots to do. First we went exploring.

There was an older playground for the kids. We had fun too though, Letty and I played a game of tetherball. I think my arms are still sore today!
