Brady's Baby Shower

Yesterday was Lindsay's baby shower for Brady. We had about 30 people in the house and it was a HOT day but it turned out really nice and I couldn't have done it with out my co-host Ma (who bought most everything) and the help from Billie Jo, my mom and Fran.

LOTS of pictures coming up.

These took over 12 hours to make but were really yummy. Billie Jo and I were on our feet doing them for 2 days.

The cupcakes. I made the cupcakes, Billie Jo did the icing, and her mother in law did the really cute little puppy faces in Royal Icing for us to perfectly match Lindsay's bedding for the nursery.

This was our first attempt at an ice cream cake. I made the big cupcake and Billie Jo dug out the center and layered it with cookies and cream ice cream and crushed up oreos. We wanted something for Lindsay to take home and enjoy.

Chantelle was so sweet and brought some bisquits and fresh berries for dessert too.

Lindsay's friend Darlene took some pictures for Lindsay and brought this for us to all sign and then it will be hung in the nursery.

My friend from high school made this for me. It's a diaper cake with a whole box of pampers swaddlers, 3 receiving blankets and a bottle of champagne in the middle...so cute!

Gina's Birthday Con't.

On my actual Birthday it was a little crazy!

First I got to open my pressie's from Todd following the birthday Beach Theme. A new beach chair (so I can be just like Jane)

Some new flip flops AND my favorite Beach snacks...Cheese puffs!

For breakfast Todd took me to Kick Back Jack (former BC Cafe) for some yummy Raisin Bread French Toast. Ma went with us too. It was so nice!

Todd wanted to be adventurous and got the chicken and waffles...so strange but it wasn't that bad.

And Ma was sweet and told them it was my birthday so they came out with a sundae and sang to me. Nothing like ice cream at 10 am!

Jackson ate too much elephant and was in a food coma...hehe

After breakfast I took Morgan to Disneyland to get my FREE gift card for my birthday. We make a quick run through and I was wishing we could stay but the family was at home waiting for us.

After Disneyland we came home just in time for Jett to get home from another birthday party he was at. I opened my present from him, a gift card to Cheesecake Factory (one of my favorites) and a really cute necklace he picked out for me. Then we all headed to the swimming pool for an afternoon dip. It was PERFECT! I loved having my family with me. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures. After the pool we had my favorite pizza from San Biagios in Upland (coming soon to the Colonies) and then headed out to Yogiyo for my final Birthday dessert. It was such a great day and I want to thank Todd for all he did for me to make me feel so special. I love you baby!

PS...here is some funnies to leave you with from the day!
Morgan is still learning that you only need a little bit of toilet paper. More than once Todd or I have walked into this and have had to walk right back out because we were CRACKING UP, even though we were supposed to be stern with her.

And I keep forgetting that our son is a "diaper thief" and we really can't put him to sleep in just a diaper. He would really rather be free.
