Thoroughbred Lights 2009

Christmas time means the annual trip up the street to see the beautiful Christmas lights in the Thoroughbred neighborhood. We headed up with the Tompkins and our family.

Christmas Dinner Party

This year since Todd became a manager he wanted to have his peeps over for a Christmas Dinner. It turned out really nice. We hired Papa to bar-tend and Lulu came over to help me get things ready. I spent SOOOO much time preparing for the dinner.

The bar set-up.

And the end of the night we had a TON of dishes to wash. I was missing having Mimi and Gippa around. Normally they are the dish ladies whenever we have a party.

Jackson's 1st Birthday

Wow I can't believe my baby is already one year old. The time really flew by and he's growing so fast! For his first birthday we did a Sock Monkey theme. It was a lot of fun :)

I made this pennant banner of out Sock Monkey scrapbook paper and some ribbon. Super easy and I love how it turned out! I got the tutorial from here.

Of course I used my favorite cupcake stand and ordered some toppers from a seller on Etsy Oh My Gluestick. I got the idea from one of my favorite blogs Tom Kat Studio.

Thanks to help from Mimi, Star, and Don I was able to get a lot of different Sock Monkey's for the party
